Object N°132
The first “Toblerones” are pyramid-shaped topped with a large iron ring. They were cast on the trail uphill, then slid down over planks of wood or lifted to their actual position by a hoisting device attached to their rings. Their haphazard position today shows how the ground has shifted over 50 years.
