The Avouillons bridge - Object n° 033
The purpose for setting off mines is for the partial destruction of a bridge to stop the enemy advancing for at least a few days. The explosive can either be on the bridge or cast into the framework.
Detonation is done long-distance. The damage caused can be over several metres deep.
